The course was designed in such a way that it presents challenges to the golfer that is similar to those of traditional Links courses in Scotland. The Prince's Grant Golf Course also offers unsheltered fairway mounds and well-shaped bunkers are reminiscent of the fabled Links courses of Great Britain.
